da poker: Liverpool have been heavily linked with a move for Barcelona attacker Ousmane Dembele in recent weeks, which suggests that manager Jurgen Klopp is looking for more competition for his star front-three Mo Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane.
The trio haven’t been as effective as they were last season and have little competition for their places – especially Mane and Salah on the flanks – and Dembele would be an exciting addition given the clear ability and potential that he has.
However, there are question marks over his attitude which is one of the reasons why his Barca future could be in doubt, and the Anfield faithful may prefer it if their well-loved German boss looked elsewhere instead.
One option could be Thorgan Hazard – brother of Eden – who outshone his sibling statistically as well as scoring twice in his country’s disappointing 5-2 defeat to Switzerland on Sunday, which denied them a spot in the Nations League finals in Portugal next summer.

The 25-year-old may well be a cheaper and more attainable player for the Merseyside club as well given he currently plies his trade for Borussia Monchengladbach, and his record of 10 goals and five assists in 13 appearances in all competitions for them this term proves the quality he has in his locker.
We asked Liverpool fans to vote on our poll to tell us whether they would prefer to sign the Bundesliga-based wide man over Dembele, and 73% of those who took part said they would as you can see from the results below.
