da bet esporte: According to reports in The Times, Everton have joined West Ham United in the race to sign £20m-rated Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud this summer.
da bet7: The Gunners are closing in on the signing of Lyon attacker Alexandre Lacazette and it is a deal that should push the 30-year-old closer to the exit door, with The Times saying that Toffees manager Ronald Koeman believes the Frenchman would be a great replacement for Romelu Lukaku.
The Belgian is expected to leave for Chelsea or Manchester United before the start of the new season and if he does go, Giroud would be the top target to replace the 24-year-old.
However, the Irons are also keen on the France international as Slaven Bilic looks to bring in two new strikers in the coming weeks, and the Croatian has already lost out to Everton in the race to sign Henry Onyekuru.
West Ham supporters were quick to have their say on the rumour via social media, and while some are jealous of Everton’s transfer strategy, others are urging the Irons board to get the deal done.
