Arsene Wenger is reportedly weighing up a fresh move for West Bromwich Albion striker Peter Odemwingie, according to The Sun.
The Baggies value the Nigerian international at £8 million, a fee that initially put Arsenal off in the first place; however with Arsene Wenger keen to inject some fresh life into his strike force it seems the Gunners boss is seemingly prepared to make another move in the summer, given Odemwingie will only have 12 months remaining on his contract.
Despite Odemwingie’s fall-out with Roy Hodgson, the 30-year-old has put his football first and has scored 10 goals so far this season that has contributed to significantly rise up the Premier League table.
Roy Hodgson will be reluctant to let him leave but knows, given the striker’s contract status, that if West Brom are going to get a decent fee for him then he may have to cash in on the striker in the summer.
